Dying Light 2 Maple Windmill is one of the two Horseshoe Windmills you need to activate or power up in the Horseshoe district, the other one being the Wilow Windmill. Maple Windmill counts as one of the 17 Windmills in the video game developed by Techland, which means that it’s a mandatory landmark you have to complete for the Don Quixote trophy/achievement.
Furthermore, this DL2 Windmill is one of the most accessible in the game; however, assuming you need help reaching the top, below, I’ll tell you everything you need to know about it.
Where To Find the Maple Windmill
On the map below, you can notice that the Dying Light 2 Horseshoe Maple Windmill is in the center of the eastern district. You’ll find it just northeast of the THV Genomics Center.

If you have already uncovered the Mill, you can also see that you’ll need only 100 Stamina to complete it. Because of this, the Maple Windmill should be approached early in the game. So, start by heading to the location on my map.
How To Activate Maple Windmill
Once you reach the landmark’s location, your starting point is the ventilation box I have marked below.

Jump on it, then walk on the metal beam. On the other side, turn left, then climb the ladder. Go around the corner, then turn left to see a large moving weight. Wait for it to reach the bottom, then hop on it. Make sure you are standing on top of the weight.

Next, wait for the weight to reach the top, then jump on the wooden platform in front of you. It is pretty close, so you’ll most likely land on your feet. If not, pull yourself up.

Now, turn left and go around the corner to see a ladder. Jump and climb on it to reach the top of the Maple Windmill, where the fuse box awaits.

The Dying Light 2 Maple Windmill starts working again after interacting with the fuse box above.
